Refund policy

At Doucevoie, we want customers to feel confident when ordering from us. This policy explains how returns, refunds, damaged items, and cancellations are handled.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date shown by your tracking information.

Unfortunately, returns requested after 30 days from delivery cannot be accepted.


2. Eligible Return Reasons

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The item arrived damaged
  • The wrong item was shipped
  • The product does not match the product description
  • You changed your mind or no longer need the item, provided it remains unused and in original condition

For damaged or incorrect items, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery so we can resolve the issue quickly.


3. Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Return request submitted within 30 days of delivery
  • Product is unused and in original condition
  • All included components are returned
  • Original packaging included whenever possible
  • Proof of purchase or order number provided

Included components may include:

  • Pots
  • Pans
  • Lids
  • Handles
  • Storage or carrying bags
  • Included accessories

4. Non-Returnable Situations

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Used or washed cookware
  • Products showing signs of wear or damage after use
  • Incomplete returns with missing parts or accessories
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, or abnormal use conditions

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges.

If you need a different item, the fastest option is:

  1. Submit a return request for the original order
  2. Place a new order separately once your refund has been processed

6. How to Start a Return

Step 1 — Contact Our Team

Before sending anything back, email:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for the return
  • Photos if the product arrived damaged or incorrect

Do not return products without receiving return instructions from our team first.


Step 2 — Ship the Return

Once your return request is approved, we will provide the correct return address.

When returning an item:

  • Use a trackable shipping service
  • Keep your shipping receipt for your records

7. Return Shipping Costs

We Cover Return Shipping When:

  • The item arrived damaged
  • The wrong item was sent

In these situations:

  • Return the package using a trackable service
  • Send us the shipping receipt
  • We will reimburse the approved return shipping cost

Customer Covers Return Shipping When:

  • You changed your mind
  • The product is no longer needed
  • The wrong item was ordered accidentally
  • The product did not meet personal expectations

In these cases:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable

We currently do not provide prepaid return labels.


8. Refund Processing Time

Once your returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 3 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been completed.


9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement on business days for a full refund.

Because orders are processed quickly, cancellation requests submitted after this period may not be possible.

Once an order has shipped, cancellations are no longer available. However, you may still request a return under the 30-day return policy after delivery.

10. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 3 business days of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged or incorrect item
  • Photos of the outer packaging

After verification, we will either:

  • Ship a replacement item, or
  • Issue a full refund

Claims submitted without photo documentation may not be eligible for approval.
